Art on F1rst Installation, 2011

Art on F1rst is sponsored by Art Council Napa Valley and the Napa tourism board. The project was created to revitalize downtown Napa, by putting art installations in empty storefront buildings on First St.

My installation was created from found objects. It took up three windows: two windows featured little houses made from recycled materials and the third window had a forest made of corks. The windows had mirrors in the backgrounds, to bring the viewer and the outside street into the artwork. The installation was on view from November 2011 – November 2012.
